Monster Pumpkins!

After reading the Monster Pumpkin Story, the year 3 group have engaged themselves in writing a few sentences to highlight the story.

Monster Pumpkins
Lurk and Bonk are monsters.They are friends.
One day they make a contest. They want to see who is going to grow the biggest pumpkin. The winner will win a pupmkin pie. Bonk plants pumpkin seeds. The seeds grow into big orange pumpkins. At night Lurk covers his pumpkin with a blanket and sings to it. Bonk laughs at Lurk. Bonk and Lurk wiegh the pumpkins to see which is the biggest one. The pumpkins are the same weight so no one wins. Bonk and Lurk do a pie for each other.
